This reframe is SO powerful. Check it out and apply next time you find yourself getting frustrated with your kid(s).
Peter Attia is a physician focused on longevity - here’s his book. He also coined the “Centenarian Decathlon”, one of my favorite concepts.
2.) a practice ⏱️ to slow time and stop the years from slipping away.
You must, at all costs, make space for reflection. Or else your life risks getting away from you.
As our lives become busier, it’s startlingly easy to look up and find that several years have passed unnoticed.
Time is a relative concept - and the more our lives center around routine/kids instead of novelty/challenge - the faster it seems to go.
Part of the solution: Make time to reflect.
Get up early or stay up late. Skip the TV. Skip the beer.
Get a pen & paper or a laptop, sit down at the kitchen table and start writing. Here are a bunch of prompts.
Some I’ve used:
What do you want more of in life? What do you want less of?
What are you proud of? What would your 22-year-old self think of you?
If you died tomorrow, would you be happy with how you’ve spent your time? If not, what would you change?
What do I want myself 10 years in the future to look like? How do I act on that tomorrow?
Reflection allows you to 1.) recalibrate your life (if needed) & 2.) appreciate what you’ve done. You only get to live this life once. Don’t let it pass unnoticed.
3.) a product 💪 to improve flexibility & extend healthspan.
Myofascial release aka foam rolling (followed by stretching), is one of the highest ROI activities for your body, especially for increasing healthspan.

The modern world has convinced us that it’s important to stay informed on…everything, all the time.
Neil Postman’s quote below (originally published in 1985!) is one of my favorites of all time. Yet I frequently need reminding of it.
I’ve decided to cut out Twitter entirely for at least the next three weeks. It’s largely a net negative in my life, yet it somehow hung around.
