1.) a question π€¨ about playing to win or playing not to lose
Are we driven to play to win, where we want to take on the challenge before us? Or are we trying to survive via playing not to lose?
Steve Magness, Win the Inside Game
Are you playing not to get fat? Or playing to have incredible health?
Are you playing not to piss off your wife? Or are you playing to foster an environment where she thrives?
Are you parenting not to mess your kids up? Or parenting them to become a light in this world?
2.) an idea π‘ about competition
98% of the battle is just showing up.
What idea do you want to continue to persevere with?
3.) Scott Galloway π¨π»β𦲠on what to do when you find what youβre good at
Find what youβre very good at and outsource everything else.
Scott Galloway
Outsourcing tasks Iβm not good at has become one of the great joys of my life.
It took me a while to get there as I had a weird amount of guilt to wade through.
But the truth is, the work gets doneΒ betterΒ and almost alwaysΒ faster when you give it away - especially to talented folks.
So give those tasks to someone better than you. And focus on your genius.
4.) Richard Feynman π¨π»ββοΈ on doing over being
Donβt think about what you want to be, but what you want to do.
Richard Feynman
Letβs start asking kids what they want to do, rather than what they want to be.

Two last things for you this week:
Play to win. Stop playing not to lose.
Be fire and wish for the wind π₯
